Before going to China, Hieu was a freshman at Hanoi University of Theater and Cinema. Going to China in 2017, Hieu studied for a year at the No. 2 Foreign Language Institute in Beijing. International students have to study entirely in Chinese, so Hieu aims to conquer this language. Hieu made friends with foreign friends to study with, was a member of many groups related to learning Chinese, and participated in exchange activities at school.
Once he has clearly defined his goals and considers language learning as a hobby, Hieu is no longer under pressure, but excited, wanting to discover and know more. Thanks to that, he was an excellent student in the 2017-2018 class of the foreign language academy.
Having excellently passed the language exams, Hieu continued to take the debut round of the Academy of Drama. That time, Hieu presented two performances: Singing in Chinese and performing with a Ukrainian international student. The school has two campuses in Dong Thanh and suburban areas (Ring No. 6). Students will study at the new campus until the end of the third year, and in the fourth year will transfer to the old campus. Graduation by fourth-year students also takes place here.
