1. The China Government Scholarship (CSC) is of two types, subsidized and unsubsidized


- With the subsidized type, you get free tuition, dormitory and insurance. Monthly, you are granted 2,500 yuan (about 390 USD) for undergraduate, 3,000 yuan ($470) master's degree and 3,500 yuan ($550) doctoral program.


+ Chinese government scholarship type A: Only three schools can be registered and need to go through the embassy of China in Vietnam.


+ Chinese government scholarship B: Only three schools can be registered.


- With the unsubsidized type, you get free tuition, dormitory and insurance. Application deadlines vary by school, but usually end of April each year and admission is in September of that year.


2. One Belt One Road Scholarship and Silk Road Scholarship


Applicants are only allowed to apply to three universities. For masters and doctoral programs, you should register in accordance with the major you studied. Those who do not have any language certificates can apply for an additional year of language study under Category A.


If you are awarded the scholarship, you will be exempted from tuition, dormitory, insurance and monthly receive 2,500 yuan ($390) for undergraduate, 3,000 yuan ($470) master's degree and 3,500 yuan (550 USD) PhD system.

3. CIS . Confucius Scholarship


This is a scholarship for those who follow the pedagogical system, the current entry requirements usually need HSK4 and intermediate HSKK certificates (HSK stands for Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi, Chinese language proficiency test, and HSKK is the oral proficiency test in Chinese). After passing these two exams, you will be issued with HSK and HSKK certificates.


Receiving the CIS scholarship, you are exempted from tuition, dormitory and insurance, receive 2,500 yuan (390 USD) allowance for undergraduate, 3,000 yuan (470 USD) master's degree and 3,500 yuan ( 550 USD) PhD system.


Master's and doctoral programs often change, so you can check the information at the school you want to apply for for specific requirements. Application deadlines vary by school, but usually at the end of May each year and admission in September of that year.


4. Other types of scholarships: The application deadline for these scholarships is at the end of June, some will close early.


- Provincial scholarships


This is the kind of scholarship that any province has, but some places give grants, some don't. The scholarship structure is usually free of tuition and accommodation, so to save money, you should choose which province has subsidies to apply. You need to pay attention to choose the right school because not all schools have scholarship quotas.


- City Scholarship


Almost all major cities in China have this scholarship, but currently the most famous is the Shanghai city scholarship, there are two types of A and B. You need to research carefully before applying.


Shanghai city scholarships are similar to government scholarships, so this place is also one of the destinations for many Vietnamese students. The Vietnamese Student Association in Shanghai is also one of the strongest and best active organizations of the Vietnamese student community in China.


- Regional Scholarship


These are scholarships that China offers to partner countries in the alliance or signatories to an agreement. For example, the ASEAN scholarship is only for international students with ASEAN nationality or the association scholarship between Europe and China is suitable for you in the EU country... ASEAN scholarships are usually located in the province. Guangxi.


Get a regional scholarship, you are exempted from tuition, dormitory and receive a monthly allowance of 1,000 yuan or more ($156).


- School scholarships


Almost every school has scholarships, tuition waivers and dormitories. Schools in the Lanzhou area, Gansu province, are often highly subsidized. This place is also attracting many Vietnamese students to study.


- Tran Gia Canh Scholarship for Chinese students


Winners of Tran Gia Canh scholarship will study at schools in Fujian province, free of tuition, dormitory and monthly allowance. However, the recipient of the scholarship must be of Chinese origin.


Currently, the Tran Gia Canh scholarship is highly rewarding and many of them have the same benefits as Chinese government scholarships.


- Enterprise Scholarship


This is a corporate-sponsored scholarship for the school. After graduation, students have to work for that business.


Undergraduate, master and doctoral programs all enroll in September, a few enroll in March. For the one-year program, you can enroll in March and September every year. Note, the application for a Chinese scholarship will depend on the requirements of the school, but you need to have:
